Emergency Relief For Palestine

As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, our hearts are filled with compassion and a desire to support those in need. This year, my friends, family and I have decided to embark on a journey up Mount Snowdon whilst fasting, not just for the thrill of adventure, but with a greater purpose in mind – to extend a helping hand to the people of Gaza who are facing immense challenges.

Gaza, a region marked by longstanding conflicts and hardships, has been enduring immense suffering, especially during these trying times. With limited access to resources, compounded by the devastating effects of conflict, the people of Gaza are in desperate need of aid, especially as they observe the sacred month of Ramadan.

During Ramadan, fasting from dawn till dusk is a spiritual practice observed by Muslims worldwide. It is a time of reflection, prayer, and generosity. However, for many in Gaza, fulfilling these spiritual obligations becomes increasingly difficult due to food shortages, lack of access to clean water, and limited medical supplies.

In solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Gaza, we have decided to take action. On 06/04/2024, we will be ascending Mount Snowden, the highest peak in Wales while fasting, to raise funds and awareness for the people of Gaza. Our goal is to alleviate their suffering, even if in a small way, by providing essential aid such as food, water, medical supplies, and humanitarian assistance.

But we can’t do this alone – we need your support.
