In Nash’s memory, we are fundraising to provide refugee children in Sudan with 3 daily meals as they complete their studies.
Open-ended deadline
The heart is heavy, the eyes cry tears but the tongue says only that which is grateful to Allah.
Our beloved Nash Ismail left us to return to Her Lord on 15 September 2020.
In her life, as in her death, Nash taught us so many things. To those who knew her, she was the embodiment of the noble characteristic of our Beloved Prophet (SAW) about whom Abdullah ibn Harith said, ‘I never came across a person who smiled as much as the Prophet Muhammed (SAW). Prophet Muhammad (SAW) regarded smiling to a brother as an act of charity.’ We do not know of anyone that can remember Nash except with a beautiful smile on her face.
Despite numerous trials relating to her health in her lifetime, she always remained patient and steadfast. Most of us never heard her once complain. In fact, many people did not even know of her illness. In this, she was the richest amongst us for she understood the true meaning of patience: ‘Patience is that the heart does not feel anger towards that which is destined and that the mouth does not complain.’ (Ibn Qayyim). She loved and deeply cared for all around her, and testimony to this is her care for her family, children and community until her last day. May her 2 beautiful children continue to be a sadaqah jaariyah for her and may Allah grant them ease and patience always.
We make dua that Allah SWT illuminate and widens her grave and raises her ranks. May her trials finally be lifted and her time of ease begin.
Nash was a beloved teacher and mentor who also regularly helped feed the needy. It is a befitting legacy to her that we help feed and educate children and enable them to learn the words of Allah as sadaqah jariya for her.
In Nash’s memory, we are fundraising to provide refugee children in Sudan with 3 daily meals as they complete their studies. Many of the students Charity Right supports are orphans, not only studying and memorising Quran at these schools, but also living there too.
