Assalam aalaykum!
Please help us build a better future for hungry impoverished kids through school meals.
Children in the developing world are often stuck in a poverty trap. They can’t get enough food to be able to go to school. They may be forced by hunger or their families to work, beg or steal just to stay alive. Even if they do go to school they may be unable to learn due to hunger, malnutrition and impaired mental development.
These kids remain illiterate, uneducated and unable to improve their life as they grow up.
Charity Right builds a future for these children through school feeding. Food draws them to school, where they learn, grow and become empowered in their futures. When they go to uni, get jobs or set up businesses, they will be able to feed their own families and the poverty cycle will be broken. All because they got one healthy nutritious meal a day, costing a mere 30p, at their school. Charity Right works for the long term, seeing the same kids right though from KG into university.
Charity Right works in:
- - Sudan: with local and Eritrean refugee communities
- - Pakistan: in the slums of Karachi and the desert of Thar
- - Bangladesh: Rohingya refugees and in slums of Dhakka
- - Yemen: with female headed households
- - Turkey: with Uygur refugees
We are adding new programmes this year in:
- - Ethiopia: internally displaced and urban slum communities in Addis Ababa
- - Malawi: in rural schools in Mangochi district
- - Afghanistan: orphanages and school in Kabul and Jalalabad

Let us give for the sake of our Creator, and ask Him to make us of those he has described in Surat Al-Insan:
"Indeed, the righteous will drink from a goblet, a drink blended with Camphor. A spring from which Allah’s servants drink, making it gush abundantly. They (are the ones who) fulfil their vows, and fear a day whose evil (events) will spread far and wide, And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive, (Saying),"We feed you for the sake of Allah alone: no reward do we desire from you, nor thanks."
