1,400 years ago when Muhammad pbuh and his companions fled Makkah, they were refugees. If they hadn’t been welcomed by the Ansar, who knows what would have happened to Islam.

“Show mercy to those on Earth and He who is in the heavens will show mercy to you.” (Tirmidhi).

We know the value of helping refugees and have the power to make a difference. In the most blessed days of the Dhul Hijjah, now is the best time to be Ansaris by feeding refugee children from Rohingya and Eritrean communities.

Currently we have:

 - Rohingya communities in Bangladesh: 500 children

 - Eritreans in Eastern Sudan: 1,003 children

Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh

Of the 890,000 Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, 60% are children. They face disease, malnutrition and more on a daily basis, with the older children at risk of becoming a ‘lost generation.’

We support 500 children in the Cox’s Bazar refugee camp with daily school meals.

Eritrean refugees in Sudan

Hundreds of thousands of Eritreans have fled for safety in Sudan, and at least 30% are children.

We support 1,003 children in Eastern Sudan refugee camps with daily school meals.

£13 provides a month of regular meals for one school child

£75 provides six months of regular meals for one school child

£150 provides a year of regular meals for one school child

Donate now in the most blessed days of Dhul Hijjah to give young refugees the hope they deserve.

Let’s feed the Refugees and be like the Ansar.
