Afghanistan is a country with the population of around 40 million, over the half are living under the poverty line. It is not only the war which is taking their life but the lack of basic nutrition as well. 

According to the latest report from January 2020 tile November 2020 (285,8485) individual fled their homes due to conflict, most of them have been internally displaced. (OCHA, 2020).

Our programme in Afghanistan will focus on providing school meals in primary and secondary schools with a focus on orphanage schools and schools in under-served areas of the country. 

Initially we will work in Kabul and Jalalabad, 7 schools serving with just over 500 beneficiaries in total. Insha’Allah we forecast expansion up to 5000 beneficiaries by the end of 2021, with the potential to double that in 2022
