When they asked, honestly, I’m not sure what possessed me but I said ‘yes’ and so…

…in Nov 2022, together with a few friends, isA, I’m climbing Mount Everest – to raise awareness and much needed funds for the most vulnerable around the world.

Between us, the aim is to raise enough money to facilitate Charity Right in paying for 250,000 meals. It won’t save everyone but it sure will change the lives of many.

I’ve been involved with the charity, as a trustee, since its inception and am now charged with overseeing the way the organisation runs, ensuring it meets its objectives. I’ve been out in field and seen first hand, the harrowing conditions some people are living / dying. I cried non-stop when I last went and couldn’t help but feel the need to do something. And so this is my small contribution.

As for the challenge… it’s a big [crazy] one. I’ve never done anything like it and like I said, it was a snap decision without initial thought… but the training is well underway and so I ask that you please support me in whatever you can.
