Feed the Hungry 2023
Assalamualaykum,
This Ramadan we have partnered with Charity Right (Registered Charity No: 1163944) to help feed poor and neglected children in schools for a whole year.
ALHUMDOLLILAH, last Ramadan we collectively raised over £59,000 and supported over 500 students at Awelia Nesr school in Ethiopia providing them with regular meals and keeping them in school!
AND we also raised over £7,500 to provide school meals for 3 schools in response to the devastating floods in Bangladesh.
This year. INSHA’ALLAH, we will be sponsoring 2 schools to provide daily meals to over 500 students for a whole year:
Al Quran Institute in Cox Bazaar, Bangladesh, which provides Islamic Education and Hifz classes to children young as 4 to aged 14.
Legetafo Maresa School in Ethiopia which provides education to nursery and primary school aged children.
So how can you help?
Join our team and raise just £150 amongst your family and friends to secure meals to one child in school for a year.
With your support, we will continue to ensure they receive a nutritious meal every day. Providing food gives them the physical and mental strength needed to complete their studies and increases the chance of these children working their way out of poverty.
It costs £13 to feed a child for a full month!
It costs £150 to feed one child for an entire year.
The Qur’an states: “Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan – it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.”
