Fighting Hunger, educating children

Every day, millions of children miss out on school, education, and food.   

But you can change that – all it takes is regular school meals to change the world!  

Imagine a parent unable to support their child, explaining that they can’t afford food or to send them to school, knowing they’ll grow up without opportunities to have a better life.  

Sadly, this is the case for millions around the globe. But it doesn’t have to be this way. 

Charity Right provides daily school meals for children who live in some of the poorest areas around the world, providing meals to Eritrean, Rohingya and Uyghur refugees, slum children in Dhaka, and vulnerable children in Afghanistan and Palestine. 

As a group of ten sisters sat enjoying much more than we could possibly eat at the recent charity High Tea we decided together we could support many children stay in school by providing money for their meals.

Half our table was made up of teachers too. So we really understand the importance of education, and not being hungry while trying to learn.

With education behind them, these children can rise from poverty to achieve their dreams – and it’s all down to school meals.  

The Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) has said ‘Do not show lethargy or negligence in giving alms and charity till your last breath.’ [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]  

How to Donate?  

 Take a minute out of your day to donate. Leave an impact that lasts a lifetime. 

£13 = a month of school meals for one child  

£75 = six months of school meals for one child   

£150 = an entire year of school meals for one child   

£750 = an entire year of school meals for five children  

Please give a donation to support our campaign.  

Please donate as much as you can from your Zakat and Sadaqah.
