Food for Uyghur Muslims

What can one person do? When you learn about tragedies and trials across the world, this is a question which runs through all our minds right?

However, if there is something we can learn from Mesut Ozil’s single Instagram post last week is, the stand of one person can have an impact.

Having escaped the torture, persecution and effort to ethnically cleanse them from the Earth, thousands of Uyghur Muslims have become refugees fleeing to Turkey.

Many of them are women and children with no income and very little savings. They are relying upon handouts to meet day to day need.

I cannot stop their persecution in their homeland, but I can try and help them once they escape. I cannot bring peace to their situation but can remove the fear of hunger and helplessness from their lives.

I am fundraising to free 5 families from food poverty, the need to beg and the inability to feed themselves.

I am hoping over the next few weeks you can help me do this.
