~~~Food for Uyghurs

Salaam alaikum. This summer, Amirun and I are raising funds for persecuted Uyghur Muslims who have fled to Turkey, having escaped the torture, persecution and effort to ethnically cleanse them from the Earth. This year, in sha Allah, we hope to scale Pen-Y-Ghent peak, one of the highest mountains in the Yorkshire Dales to raise money and awareness for this cause. Many of the newly arriving Uyghurs are women and children who have left their families behind to seek security. Charity Right is running a campaign to sponsor these Uyghur families. The sponsorship is to remove the fear of hunger and the helplessness of not being able to feed themselves and their children. We are fundraising to provide a vulnerable family with food security for 12 months. We are hoping over the next few months you can help me do this.  Zakat is eligible.
