I’m raising money to support the Uyghur families that left China to escape persecution and are trying to rebuild their lives in Turkey.

Over 1 million Uyghurs living in China have been subject to arbitrary arrests, confinement to camps, increased mass surveillance monitoring every street and every action of the people in the region, and laws that ban religious items such as the Qur’an and Hijab.

Reports and accounts reveal that prisoners’ hands and feet are shackled all day, except when they have to write. Even in sleep they were shackled, and are required to sleep on their right side, and anyone who turns over is punished. Punishment takes place publicly on a daily basis. Listen to the story of a survivor below.

Many of the newly arriving Uyghurs are women and children who have left their families behind to seek security. They have no income and very little savings. They are relying upon handouts to meet day to day need.

I’m working with Charity Right (UK Charity Registration Number: 1163944) to support these families with vital food aid.

£50 will feed a family for one month

£150 will feed a family for three months

£300 will feed a family for six months

£450 will feed a family for nine months

£600 will feed a family for an entire year

Charity Right is on the ground in Turkey, providing vital food aid to families consisting of women with children whose husbands are missing or are locked away with nutritious food packs.

By removing the worry of food, we can help these families focus on building strong, safe and happy futures.

Please donate generously and encourage others to donate too by sharing with your family and friends via social media, WhatsApp etc.
