Gatton Primary School Ramadan Appeal 2023

We at Gatton Primary School have joined Charity Right this Ramadan to feed school children who live in some of the poorest areas around the world, in countries such as Yemen, Turkey, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malawi, Ethiopia and Afghanistan. 

The school meals Charity Right provides allows children to grow healthy with enough energy to focus on their studies. 

And with one less mouth to feed, families can finally afford to send them to school, giving students the opportunity to rise from poverty.  

Ramadan is a blessed time to reflect on the blessings Allah (SWT) has bestowed upon us. But while we enjoy our Iftaar, spare a thought to those who have no choice but to fast all year. 

The best thing about charity is that the rewards stay with you forever:  

“When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end, except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for him.” [Muslim] 

By donating, you reap the multitude of blessings from Ramadan today, but also start a legacy that will reward you for years to come.

£13 = a month of school meals for one child 

£75 = six months of school meals for one child 

£150 = an entire year of school meals for one child 

£750 = an entire year of school meals for five children
