Lesvos Volunteer Abroad Trip

I’m going out to Greece in April to visit the refugees on the Greek Island of Lesvos where the conditions are bleak and life is so uncertain for the refugees that any support provided is welcomed. The need for such support has intensified and Charity Right is responding. The team consists of a group of committed individuals who are working tirelessly to provide refugee families and individuals with support and hot meals. Every day our team prepare, cook, package and distribute food to hundreds of refugees from our food bus. As part of my trip, I will be getting my hands dirty and help on the bus, as well as helping with clothes distribution and if required – night watch for incoming boats to help new arrivals on the islands.
