Rohingya Girls’ Quran School
In these final nights of Ramadan, we must aim to provide regular meals for Rohingya school girls in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
At Safura Begum Islamia Quran School, school provides a familiar routine that helps the children recover from trauma. Daily meals are vital to keeping these Quran schools open.
For girls, these meals are even more important. Being in school decreases the chance of them being sexually exploited. When they have food, their number one need is being taken care of.
Suhaib ibn Sinan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best of you are those who feed others.”
£120 feeds one Rohingya schoolgirl for 6 months
£240 feeds one schoolgirl for one year
£480 feeds two schoolgirls for one year
£1200 feeds five schoolgirls for one year
