Sudan Trip 2019

In December, I will be flying out to Sudan with my son Hamza to see the projects we’re running in the schools, as well as our family feeding programme. 

As part of my trip out there, I want to fundraise £5,000 to feed those who benefit from Charity Right’s feeding programmes with daily meals all year round.

These meals will help people like Mamouna.

Mamouna is an old widow in the refugee camps in Sudan.

Her husband passed away, leaving her a widow and she has no family, no relatives to support her.

She just about manages to complete her daily chores, but otherwise, she suffers in silence.

“Alhamdulillah, I’m eating at least” she tells us.

Imagine her as your mother, just as we imagine her to be ours.

The reality of the situation is, that there are hundreds of Mamounas that live the same life, that are in the same dire situation.

There are hundreds of Mamounas that need our help.
