Sylvia’s Qurbani Appeal

I’m fundraising to provide 3 Qurbani’s to families in Malawi and Ethiopia with Charity Right and Tawakcool Adventures this Dhul Hijjah. 

1 in 3 people in Malawi face extreme levels of hunger. 70% of the population lives beneath the poverty line. 

In Ethiopia, families are still recovering from a seven-year drought.  

It’s resulted in over 20 million Ethiopians facing devastating food insecurity, including 3.9 million children. 

With millions of families on the brink of starvation in both countries, your Qurbani will provide meat to the poorest households. 

For many families, it’s the ONE time of year where they eat meat. 

Your donations to my page allows vulnerable families and orphaned children to take part in Eid celebrations. 

‘The first thing to be done on this day (first day of Eid Al-Adha) is to pray; and after returning from the prayer we slaughter our sacrifices. Whoever does so, he acted according to our Sunnah.’ Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Sahih Bukhari.
