Ramadan is here and I want to give to a charity that will make a real and lasting difference. That’s why I’m raising funds to provide food to schoolchildren.

Children need mental and physical strength whilst they study, but many families in areas of poverty struggle to feed themselves. Millions of young people are not enrolled in school because their first priority needs to be finding food, instead.

When Charity Right provide free school meals in an area, those schools report an increase in enrolment rates and attendance. Providing food increases education rates, and those children then have a better chance of working their way out of poverty.

It costs £120 to feed one child for an entire year.
