This Ramadan I am aiming to raise money for school children in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sudan. Your donations will help provide daily school meals for children who live in some of the poorest areas of the world.

The money we will raise will help children like 15 year old Nebraj in Pakistan who alongside his studies, has to work to feed his family. Charity Right’s feeding programme allows him to concentrate on his studies by providing him with nutritious meals and brings him a step closer to achieving his dreams.

Working with Charity Right for this unique project through Ramadan enables us to reflect on the blessings Allah swt has bestowed upon us, where we are fortunate enough to eat when we desire. Yet, others live a life where they are unsure of when they will have their next meal.

We have a long term goal which is not only to provide immediate aid, but to help them long term by getting them out of poverty all together. The only way they can end their poverty is by gaining a full education so they have a chance at a career in the future. Ensuring they don’t have to work to feed their family will ensure they can focus on their education.

It costs only £120 to feed a child for a year. An entire year!

The Qur’an states: “Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan – it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.” Let’s do some good in the world and help motivate and inspire children- the future of tomorrow.
