More than 40% of Sudan lives below the poverty line. Charity Right want to stop children thinking about where their next meal is going to come from, and start thinking about school work.
When I visited Sudan, I saw firsthand how Eritrean refugees are living in the camps. They are without access to food, suffering from malnutrition which will cause several illnesses and long term problems. Many of the children are refugees with limited options, but education is a ticket to a better life. By providing regular school meals we do more than just feeding stomachs, we provide stability and opportunity to children in extreme poverty. Without the help from Charity Right they will be stuck in a vicious cycle of poverty.
This year, I want to make a bigger impact on the lives of many refugee children still living in these camps. I need your help. The more meals we can provide, the more chance these children have to fight hunger and to escape poverty, so please dig deep and donate.
Thank you,
Faisal.
