Al Barakah school has partnered with Charity Right UK to provide meals for hundreds of children living in Yemen. This is a whole school fundraising competition and is a great opportunity for all our students and community to get involved and help to raise funds towards a worthy cause!
A staggering 80% of Yemen’s population need humanitarian aid – and that includes 12 million innocent children struggling in a harsh, unforgiving world.
Many have no choice other than drop out of school to help their family beg for money, food or water, finding anything they can to survive. And 2 million under 5-year-olds are malnourished, many of whom will die if not given care urgently.

Charity Right is launching their school meals programme in Yemen for the first time, offering regular nutritious meals to over 2,500 students.
All children deserve a fair chance and Charity Right are offering the children of Yemen an opportunity to escape their fate.
By offering school meals, parents are able to send their children to school. There they find a place to be happy and healthy as they receive an education that will change their lives and the lives of their community.
Every meal can change a life – and you can help.
How can you help?
This Ramadan, join our team and raise money amongst your family and friends to secure meals to the children in Yemen.
£10 = one child is fed for an entire month!
£60 = one child is fed for 6 months!
£120 = one child is fed for 1 whole year!
£240 = 2 children supported with regular meals for 1 whole year!
