I have joined Charity Right’s Team365 this Ramadan to feed school children who live in Afghanistan. Afghanistan has been called in recent times as the worst humanitarian crisis in the world. Half of the population lives in poverty and the life expectancy at birth is the lowest in the world

Thousands of families can’t send their children to school, relying on them to work just to afford food. Instead of learning to read and write in the safe confines of a classroom, millions of children brave danger on the streets to earn whatever money they can. 

By offering school meals, Charity Right motivates parents to send their children to school. There, they get a healthy meal and an education that will change their lives and the lives of their community.

The Qur’an states: “Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan – it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.” 

The Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) has said, “The best of you are those who feed others” Subhan’Allah! 

 
So how can you help? 
£13 = one child is fed for an entire month! 

£75 = one child is fed for 6 months! 

£150 = one child is fed for 1 whole year! 

£300 = 2 children supported with regular meals for 1 whole year! 

Please donate as much as you can from your Zakat and Sadaqah.
