UC Berkeley MSA Dinner

Assalamu Alaykum,   

UC Berkeley MSA are hosting their annual fundraising dinner in support of Charity Right, to raise money for children meals for schoolchildren in deprived and neglected communities, such as those found in eastern Sudan refugee camps, the Thar Desert in Pakistan, and the slums of Bangladesh.

A hot school meal means that parents no longer have to worry about where their child’s next meal will come from. Regular, hot food creates well-nourished children who can focus on their education. This is life-changing, because an education is their ticket out of the poverty trap.
