Meals For Qur’an Schools

This Ramadan, we have partnered with Charity Right to provide vital meals to students learning Quran in East Sudan. 

Our goal is to ensure at least 8 children at Sheikh Homed School & Ibn Al Juzri Qur’an School receive three daily meals for the next year.

Many of these students are refugees or orphans, they therefore have no other means to sustain themselves and the meals they receive will literally be a lifeline. 

What your support will go towards

Before Charity Right intervened, these students were eating flour mixed with boiling water. Now, they’re receiving three nutritionally balanced meals every day containing vegetables, lentils and bread.

These meals will give them the necessary nutrition they need to allow them to complete their Quranic learning comfortably throughout the day. It’ll also give them a better chance to break out of poverty later in life as education is often the key to breaking the shackles of cyclical poverty.

With your donations we will be able to really change the lives of over 150 students. 

• £60 = 3 months of regular meals for one student
• £120 = 6 months of 3 daily meals for one student
• £240= a year of 3 daily meals meals for one student
• £480= a year of regular meals for 2 students
