Asalaam Alaykum!
I am raising money to provide emergency food packs for the people of Yemen.
66% of Yemenis cannot afford food. 2 in 3 people are at danger of dying from hunger.
Since 2011, Yemen has been suffering. From what began as a ‘revolution’ has now become a humanitarian disaster. In the past 9 years Yemen has gone through a series of conflicts which have destroyed cities, caused the death of thousands and has left millions vulnerable.
We can’t let this continue for another decade.
What we do
Charity Right is aiming to provide families impacted by war, famine and now Covid19 with family food packs containing essential food items.
The Emergency Food Packs contain:
10kg Rice
15kg Flour
2kg Lentils
4.8kg Kidney Beans
5kg Sugar
5L Oil
2kg Dates
*For families with infants we will also provide baby milk
Share your blessings with Yemen in this blessed month of Ramadan. The people of Yemen are blessed and have been mentioned by Allah’s beloved Messenger.
Hadith: Ahmad narrated by Jubair ibn Mut‘im says, ‘We were with the Messenger of Allah on a road between Makkah and MadÏnah and he said: ‘The people of Yemen are on the verge of ascending upon you as if they are clouds. They are the best (people) on Earth.’
Then a man from the Ansar (the Helpers from Madinah) said, ‘Aren’t we O Messenger of Allah?’ Then he was silent. He said, ‘Aren’t we O Messenger of Allah?’
