Peace be upon you and your families.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about my Ramadan challenge in 2024. ❤️❤️❤️ 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🌙🌙🌙

I wanted to do something this Ramadan to help make a small difference to those who do not have the luxury of regular food on their tables. Children are often the most vulnerable and innocent victims of their circumstances in the midst of poverty. For the majority of you reading this, you and I do not have to worry where our next meal is coming from or how will I be able to feed my family? It’s something we take for granted but unfortunately not everyone has this privilege.

My Ramadan challenge is to run 180km during Ramadan whilst fasting ( that’s no food or water from pre sunrise to sunset) in the month of Ramadan ( 30 days). That’s the same as running from Manchester to Birmingham.

UPDATE 1ST APRIL 2024….182 KM COMPLETED ❤️🏃🏽‍♂️❤️🇵🇸🌙

It will be challenging but I think it’s doable and I’m ready for the challenge. The plan is to run 6 km every day from around an hour before sunset and the time I can  break my fast. I have always enjoyed running and this is the second time I will be attempting running 🏃🏽‍♂️ whilst fasting so I know from last year it will be a journey of ups and downs and pretty challenging.

But my challenge is nothing compared to the challenge school children in Afghanistan,Malawi, Ethopia, Bangladesh and many others face on a daily basis day after day. PLEASE DONATE GENEROUSLY WHATEVER YOU CAN AND SHARE THE LINK WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS,CONTACTS AND SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.

I will keep you updated my sharing my runs on this page and on my social media if you want to follow my journey.

EDIT 24/03/24. I have been trying to upload my runs on my donation page but due to some IT issues they don’t appear on here once I upload them on here. I have so far completed 103 km by day 12. I am trying again to upload the runs so hopefully it works this time. I have also added Strava link 🔗 on here and you can follow my progress via the Strava app . IF YOU CLICK ON THE STRAVA LINK AND OPEN THE PAGE IT WILL SHOW YOU MY COMPLETED RUN.Keep me in your thoughts and prayers to help me finish the challenge as I am struggling with an injury and recurrent pain after my runs . I WILL KEEP GOING FOR AS LONG AS I AM ABLE TO HELP THOSE IN NEED .

PLEASE KEEP BEING SHARING MY LINK AS WIDELY AS POSSIBLE.❤️❤️❤️🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️🇸🇾🇵🇸🇵🇸🌙🌙 🌙

The funds raised through The Ramadan Challenge will go towards providing school meals for children and young people around the world.

This is a critical need, as it not only provides them with the sustenance they need to stay healthy, but it also incentivises parents to send their children to school, giving them a chance to escape the cycle of poverty.

Remember, this project is Zakat eligible, and your donation can make a big impact:

£13 = feeds one child for an entire month £75 = feeds one child for six months £150 = feeds one child for one year £300 = feeds two children for one year

Thank you for your support. Let's make The Ramadan Challenge a massive succes.
