They’re absolutely essential all over the world! 

But doctors don’t just appear from thin air – even they went to school once upon a time. No matter the country, the better access there is to education, the more doctors we’ll have in the world.

And that’s exactly why we’re so proud of Faiza.

 

Meet Faiza

Since her father sadly passed away, Faiza relies on her mother’s tailoring business to support the family. But with food costing so much in Pakistan, they struggle to earn enough to eat. 

Not one to give up, Faiza stepped in to help her mother sew clothes for women in the village and has been working tirelessly ever since.

Headstrong and focused, she spends her days measuring customers, making their clothes, and even translating Urdu for her mother to understand precisely what the customers need. The sort of daughter every mother dreams of!

But with all her skills and determination, doesn’t Faiza deserve more from life than this?

 

Making Her Dream Come True

Yes, Faiza’s a wonderful tailor and the perfect assistant to her mum… but how can we say no to a girl with a dream?

If she could choose any job in the world, Faiza said she wouldn’t pick tailor. She’d choose to become a doctor – what an answer!

But she needs the right education behind her to achieve that dream.
